Terms of Service
Last updated: May 26, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Stash service ("Service") provided by Hope Kamara ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Stash helps individuals track side-hustle income, expenses, mileage, invoicing, and estimate taxes. Outputs are informational only and are not professional tax, legal, or financial advice.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract, or have parental consent. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You will not: (a) use the Service unlawfully or fraudulently; (b) infringe intellectual property; (c) interfere with or probe the security of the Service (malware, scraping, automated abuse); (d) misrepresent your identity.
4. Intellectual property
We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per your plan. No reverse engineering, resale, or circumvention of technical limits.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the data you submit. You grant us a limited license to host and process that data solely to operate the Service.
6. Payment, billing & subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel anytime from your account or via paddle.net; access continues until the end of the paid period. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and are prorated.
The Hustler plan includes a 14-day free trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends, and you may cancel during the trial at no cost.
7. Service level
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement).
8. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow such limitation.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app.
